Painting an Ivy Leaf Part 1

Saturday 6 June · 10:00 CEST · 90 minutes

Live painting session in the studio

In this ivy leaf project Pt. 1 I would like to show you different ways of applying colour and reaching depth. We will speak about the tonal contrast and I will show you one of many possibilities to work with tone (grisaille). We will mix neutral tones together.

Painting along? You'll need: Preferably cotton paper for watercolor, watercolor paints, 1-2 brushes with fine tip (synthetic or natural bristles), sharp pencil and eraser, two containers with water, white mixing palette (a ceramic plate is perfect), paper towel or paper napkin.
