Daria Gallery Guiding the brush like a violin bow

In the Studio

Every painting must pass the frame

A painting may leave the studio unframed, but never before I've placed it into its mount, set it behind glass, and seen it framed myself. That's my last check — the moment I know a work is finished, and stands the way I pictured it before the first brushstroke. Even the smallest is no exception.
